Dear Diary, This blog post is long overdue but I have been so busy and haven't gotten the chance to actually sit down and write about ending my 2017. There has been so many ups and downs; in my last post I told you all about finally dedicating myself to a relationship, and that did … Continue reading January 22, 2018
Dear Diary, I got a call today. It was my father...I didn't answer, & he left a voicemail. Fair. I also haven't listened to the voicemail - and before this interaction I haven't talked to him in who knows how long because I really wasn't counting. Daddy's little girl grows up and still should be … Continue reading January 15, 2018
Dear Diary, So long and farewell to 2017. We did end on a positive note even though it might appear otherwise. As I reminisce on the journey(s) I have taken, there is a smile on my face in hope, knowing that the foundation started at the end of the year is my beginning. Thinking of … Continue reading January 8, 2018
Dear Diary, There has been something that has been weighing on my mind. Dear Diary, I can't remember the last time I've updated you, but no time like the present. Let me start by apologizing to my damn self, I haven't let nobody down but myself. I've witnessed companies that were open before I was born CLOSE due to bankruptcy (like damn)! I've watched my mentors make mistakes...people … Continue reading December 4, 2017
Dear Diary, Back in 2013, I traveled to the Dominican Republic. This particular trip has a special place in my heart because while there, I visited an orphanage and also went into a neighborhood to see some local families. I knew beforehand that I was going to interact with some residents of the country, so … Continue reading December 1, 2017
